First choice has to
be a stroll along our idyllic white sand beach, followed by a swim in
the crystal clear lagoon. The lagoon, with the coral reef just 200
metres from the beach, is a snorkeling paradise with its many colourful
fish and living coral. A sea kayak is a great way to explore the
coastline or enjoy lazing around our stunning 140 square metre fresh
water swimming pool.

Diving - For the more adventurous, the
local dive centre is just a five minute walk away along the beach.
Courses include PADI beginner, open water or advanced diver.
Bamboo Rafting & River Tour - Have fun
climbing waterfalls and sailing down the river on bamboo rafts. Direct
pick up service.
Fishing - Fiji is well known for its game
fishing scene attracting many fish species. Trips start early in the
morning and sail around a variety of different areas.
Jet Skiing - Take a four hour jet ski tour
around 60km of tropical lagoon. The tour includes twin share jet skis,
orientation session, a qualified guide, lunch on an idyllic island and
snorkeling equipment.
Golf - Greens South Pacific - Nearby is an
18 hole, 72 par, 6,317m championship golf course where you can
experience the challenge of the undulating fairways.
Also available nearby: mountain biking, horse riding, Fijian
villages, handicraft markets and a wildlife park. |

Dining Eating and drinking is an all day
affair at the Wellesley. We provide the service, you select the
location. Dine in the Wellesley Café, on the sun deck, in your room, on
your terrace or poolside. You may even wish to dine on the beach – it
really is a romantic experience, with moonlight and candles.
Our local chefs are trained in both local and international cuisine
and excel at meeting your every dining expectation. Accommodation
packages are available which include daily tropical breakfast, chef's
special lunch and a three course dinner. A la carte dining is also
available daily for guests and casual diners.
The Wellesley also hosts feature cuisine nights. Enjoy a local Fijian
feast complete with local Fijian entertainment. Our gourmet barbecues
are also very popular! |
| Your Wellesley
wedding in Fiji can be held barefoot on our white sand beach in a simple
sunset ceremony or... say "I do" to the romantic sounds of a Fijian
choir on our fabulous pool deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All you
have to do is select the ceremony package and menu option that most
suits your needs and we will arrange the entire wedding for you. Our
Wellesley Resort staff will take care of everything to ensure that all
your time can be spent with those you care about most, allowing you to
enjoy your special day and your holiday to the full.

| The
Wellesley Resort has a licensed massage therapist who has had extensive
training in the United States of America. Soffy is a Fiji native who has
studied for 3 years at the West Valley College in Saratoga, California.
Her classes included Medical Terminology, Shiatsu Practical Massage,
Medical Law and Ethics, Structure and Function of the Human body and
Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Soffy worked in California in
her own practice, before moving back to Fiji with her husband. All
massage treatments are one hour in duration and are set in our special
massage room. Deep tissue and sports massage also available for athletic
or sports orientated guests.
Relaxing Full Body Massage - All over body
massage involving muscle kneading, without specifically working on
pressure trigger points. $65
Soft Tissue Massage - Similar to relaxing
massage but does work into the muscle tissue with various techniques.
This is still a gentle massage. $65
Aromatherapy Massage - Relieves overall
stress and tension by creating an aromatic environment for a soothing
full body massage. $80
Swedish Massage - Pressure point
manipulating, increasing blood circulation to give you a generally
relaxed and peaceful feeling. $80
Rekki Massage - Provides pain relief of
specific areas by transferring heat from the therapist palms into your
tender muscles. $80

Facial massage - This technique exercises
facial pressure points to relieve pain from headaches, sinus and/or

relaxation. Based on the theory that your entire body has reflex points

The
Wellesley is located on Fiji's main island Viti Levu on the picturesque
southern coast - the Coral Coast .
Fiji's two international airports are located at Nadi and Suva (the
western and eastern sides respectively). These airports provide air
connections to all of the world's major cities with direct flights to
New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Korea, Canada and the USA.
Airport Transfers - The Wellesley provides
two types of road transfers for the journey which is approximately one
hour and forty five minutes from Nadi Airport.
Option 1) Private, air-conditioned car. $140.00 FJD,
each way per car, 4 persons max
Option 2) Share transfers $55 per person which will met
your flight (this transfer may take slightly longer as it may stop at
other resorts along the way).
Rental Cars - Rental cars are available for
hire directly from the Wellesley Resort at competitive rates.
Getting Around Fiji - Public buses travel
between Nadi and Suva throughout the day and are very inexpensive.
Tourist buses are a little more expensive, but stop at all the resorts
along the way. The service is limited to a few departures in each
direction per day. Taxis have stands at most of the resorts as well as
all of the towns. |
