Wedding Photography by Barefoot Island Video & Photography

Photo Package:

Special shots of the Bride and Groom getting ready for the Wedding, procession, the actual ceremony, formal and impromptu shots after the wedding, toast to the newlyweds, cake cutting, first dance and reception or dinner. Package includes approximately 150 - 200 digital still photos, color corrected and adjusted and or cropped. We are happy to provide your photos in any combination of Color, Black and White or Sepia Tone. Delivered to you on CD's or DVD in personalized cases for easy and safe storage. The photos can be printed in any size up to A3 or 11"x14".

DVD Video package:

Digital video of groom arriving, bride arriving, the Wedding ceremony, reception, speeches, cake cutting, first dance, etc. along with shots of the resort and Wedding venue. The footage is artistically edited and delivered on DVD with interactive menu selections. We record your special day with the new Sony HVR-Z1U Professional High Definition camera. We offer your Wedding DVD in either PAL or NTSC formats* in full screen or widescreen versions with interactive multimedia menus. We use Apple computers, Final Cut Pro HD and DVD Studio Pro software to ensure the finest quality.

Fiji Scuba Diving!

 Somosomo Strait (Fijian for 'good water') on the  doorstep of Paradise, has strong tidal currents, which provide a constant flow of nutrients, idyllic for soft corals and diverse fish life. Taveuni is world renowned for the spectacular soft coral sites such as Rainbow reef. This is a fringing reef almost 32 km long on the southwest corner of Vanua Levu  and easily accessed from Paradise. Not only the best Fiji scuba diving, but one of best scuba diving

 vacation sites in the world.

 Taveuni Scuba Diving

 Taveuni is made up of 28 extinct volcanoes with the depth of the crystal clear waters 100 metres deep 100 metres out. Remarkable pelagic marine life is encountered on the shore of Paradise Taveuni,  some of which include the majestic Southern Right and Pilot Whales and pods of up t o 50 Bottlenose Dolphins.

 Paradise Taveuni is a Fiji scuba diving dream, only minutes from pristine reefs & diving directly from  the shore, the resort marina or via dive boat, experience silt free, crystal clear water giving visibility of 100 ft and more. Nearby Rainbow reef and White wall have been noted in the Top 10 Dive locations in the world by U.S. Divers magazine.

 Pro Dive Taveuni, is owned and operated by Paradise Taveuni and is located on the oceanfront of  Paradise, offering fast access to scenic unspoilt Fiji diving including the world famous Rainbow reef  & White wall - a must for all advanced divers. The Pro Dive Crew & shop offers top quality scuba  diving gear coupled with professional local knowledge. The PADI instructors offer a large range of dive  courses & safety is paramount at the Resort.

Pro Dive Taveuni offers divers an overabundance of diverse marine life. Giant clams, hard and soft corals, resident moray eels, sea snakes and flashlight fish are found within the first meters of the calm, clear waters of the resort's shore.

Learn to Dive with Pro Dive Taveuni and PADI Instructors or upgrade pre-existing skills. A wide range of Dive Courses are available.

 Vuna Reef Dive Sites - 4 to 15 minutes from Paradise

 Paradise Reef

 One of our favourite sites, this reef is located directly off the Paradise oceanfront. In one

 direction a labyrinth of lava flow covered in stunning hard and soft corals,  swarming in

 tropical reef species, shallow and bright – a photographers dream! In the other a fantastic 

 training site with a variety of terrain to make the most of your learning experience. We utilise

 this site for night diving and snorkelling is spectacular any time of the day. All local species are represented here and the colours are stunning.

 Fish Factory

 Stunning hard plate corals, lots of ambient light, multicoloured patches of soft coral, giant  clams and swarms of reef fish at a depth of less than 60f/20m make this a popular site for  photographers, beginners and repetitive divers.

 Coral Garden

  Nicknamed Nirvana and only a few minutes by boat from the Resort, this is one of our best  dive sites. 3 fingers of lava once streamed into the ocean and are now covered with a variety

 of hard and soft coral species. Rays, sharks and big schools of barracuda are the keepers of

 the Coral Garden. Schools of trevally, snappers and tunas abound. It’s an overdose of  everything!

 Orgasm

  Vuna Reef at its finest! This wall dive faces Open Ocean and it’s here that we have seen our

 favourite regulars, sharks, rays and napoleon wrasse. Drift by schools of batfish or giant tuna

 from the deep. All this in only 60f /20m, a truly awe-inspiring dive site that never seems to  disappoint.

 Tavoro Cave

  This deep wall dive has got it all. A spooky Cave at 90f/30m, swim thrus, and lots of life. The

 topography of this site is striking, a sheer wall with plenty of gullies. Look up into clouds of reef  fish, look down to reef sharks, and look out to barracuda, tuna and turtles. A scuba diving  experience not easily forgotten.

 Pinnacles

  This deep seamount stands a little off Vuna Reef and attracts large manta rays and other  large visitors as well as smaller schooling species. It is here that in the season, we receive the occasional visitor to our waters, the whale sharks.

 Stairs

  Beginning the dive on the top of the reef, you are greeted by hard plate corals of all colours  and among them titan trigger fish, parrot fish and wrasse. From here, dive down through a  swim through covered in soft corals and out onto an inverted wall swathed in pure white soft  coral. Then back up the stairway, under the arches enveloped in white and purple soft corals.  All types of reef sharks and barracuda often visit this site. A favourite amongst our Pro Dive team!

 Rainbow Reef - 18 minutes from Paradise

 The Great White Wall

  The soft coral capital of the world offers an astounding wall of pure white soft coral. This site  is definitely the world famous Rainbow Reef’s top draw. A coral incrusted swim through leads

 onto the wall from the reef top. A dazzling myriad of colour and life inhabits the reef top.  Manta rays glide past with ethereal grace. On exiting the water from this site an awed silence

 lasts for a while before an excited chatter that lasts for days starts among divers. Not to be  missed!

 Rainbow Passage

  In terms of fish life and soft corals, the sheer abundance on this site is incredible. The top of  the reef starts at 12 metres and gradually slopes to 20 metres. Covered by some very unique

 soft corals not found in similar form or in this abundance anywhere else on a Fiji dive. Well,  the name speaks for itself!

 Purple Wall

 This is one of the truly stunning sites on the Rainbow Reef. It deserves it’s billing as one of  the worlds top dive sites. A solid wall of purple soft coral and more species than can be counted. You will not want to leave!
