First Landing is a quiet, relaxing resort amidst 6 acres of tropical landscaped gardens with massive raintrees and towering coconut palms fringing a white sandy beach. It is located at historic Vuda point where the Fijians first landed, with spectacular views across to the islands, particularly at sunset. This new and secluded resort adjoins Vuda Point Yacht Marina and houses Nalamu Art Gallery and Pottery School. Guests can relax by the new swimming pool, stroll along the beach or explore the reef. Cultural, environmental and historical attractions are all nearby - visit a Fijian Village, trek to Abaca National park, spend a day on a deserted island. For the more energetic, we can arrange shopping and sightseeing tours into nearby Lautoka or Nadi.

First Landing’s popular outdoor restaurant is set along the beachfront and features fresh lobster and seafood dishes, wood-fired pizzas, local specialities, prime steaks, pastas and salads - all at reasonable prices. Breakfast and Lunch is casual, with dinner having more of a subtle elegance. Dine on a private beachside timber deck at a candlelit table and listen to our Island serenades and the gentle sea breeze.
