Choose from an Ocean View Bure – a spacious bedroom with a sitting area, a ceiling fan, a deck with an ocean view, mini bar and coffee and tea making. Ocean View Bures (front) 1-6

Or a Double Bure – each one has two completely separate bedrooms, both with their own
bathrooms and deck (plus ceiling fans, mini bar and coffee and tea making facilities). There is an interconnecting door which make them ideal for families. Take either one room or both. Double Ocean View Bures (back) 7/8 and 9/10.


The cottage is a self-contained unit with an ocean view from the bedroom windows. There is one bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge. You’ll have your own porch and a large yard with banana trees and tropical flowers. Ideal for island living!


		The Villa is set up on a hill surrounded by tropical foliage. It is large and open with high ceilings, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen and a large verandah with a beautiful ocean view!


		The Beach House is nestled in a beautiful plantation-like setting, just steps from the ocean. It’s true vintage island style with a large verandah (you’ll practically live outside), open living room, three bedrooms, one large bath and a kitchen. Make yourself at home!

	The Poolhouse: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, large covered deck. Can sleep six to eight.



Activities are available of course, but you are free to do nothing. Doing nothing is a popular non-activity here. Hang out at the pool, write your novel in the lounge, walk into town for dinner at the yacht club. Lay on your bed and read books. No Pressure. No Schedules. No Club Med. Our staff is small our smiles are large. We’re always available, but we’re not in your face. You come, you stay, you do what you want. At Daku, you call the shots.

Having said that, there are a number of things to do – both regular activities and the special interest courses we run at Daku. We know that some people like to have a holiday with a focus, and we offer a number of special interst courses in areas like writing, painting and quilting. They are 6-day residential courses taught by experts in their field who come from Australia and the US.

And of course there are lots of fabulous regular activities like DIVING, SNORKELLING or BIKE RIDING. Vanua Levu is all about diving. We dive the same sites as the world-famous Jean Michel Cousteau. We can book you with Extended Horizon Adventures in Savusavu Bay, or with Koro Sun Dive to go to the internationally known dive site of Namena Island. When you save money on accommodation, you’re able to do more dives, eat more food and have more fun.The snorkelling in Savusavu Bay is also excellent: there’s a small reef directly outside the resort; there’s a funny old shipwreck 400 metres away and 5 km down the road, there’s the outstanding site of Split Rock.

Located in Savusavu, Daku is a small resort. We have a range of accommodation to suit all travelers' needs; choose from six Fijian style bures or four self-contained villas. All are set in luscious tropical gardens with spectacular views of Savusavu Bay.
