Bekana is a small, family-owned island off the west coast of Viti
Levu.
With thirty hectares of lush mangroves, tropical gardens, coconut
palms and sandy beach, Bekana is only 20 minutes from Nadi airport
and just a 10-minute boat ride from Lautoka.
Small and intimate, Bekana keeps true to the traditional Fijian
values. You will be greeted with warm Bula smiles and treated like
family, making it so much harder when it’s time to leave.
Bekana has scheduled boat transfers to Lautoka daily, allowing you
to mingle with the locals and explore the town returning at your
leisure to the sanctuary of the island.
Bekana offers you a true island experience with easy access to the
mainland, the airport, and is ideally located for day trips to the
outer islands.
Fiji Time takes on a whole new meaning at Bekana – relax and do as
much or as little as you please.

 |
Savala is an uninhabited island only available to Bekana guests.
A 25 minute boat ride from Bekana, Savala is surrounded by crystal
blue water and a spectacular coral reef.
Daily snorkeling tours* allow you to explore the reef and meet
its colourful underwater inhabitants including many varieties of
fish, sea horses, star fish and a wide variety of coral.
Savala is also a wildlife sanctuary for sea birds and turtles.
We take pride in protecting their natural habitat by only leaving
behind our footprints in the sand when we return home. |
