Where is Qamea and Aqua Club Beach Retreat
Qamea Island is the 4th largest island in the group
and is 4 miles off the coast of Taveuni in the far Northern group of
the Fiji Islands.
Qamea Island has no roads, access is only by boat or
Seaplane. This isolation lends itself to a perfect destination for
relaxation.
Aqua Club Beach Retreat is located in the
magnificient Namata Bay on Qamea Island
Taveuni (just 10 minutes away by boat) is also known
as the 'Garden Island of Fiji'. |

Accommodations:
Luxury Tent villa:
We will commence building shortly !
Our tents are going to offer luxury accommodations;
fully air conditioned. Spacious, over 700sq feet in size. Each
tent will have king size bed, luxury lounge with leather and coconut
furniture. The private bathroom with divine ‘old world’ claw foot
bathtub. Outdoor shower to spend time under the stars and be ‘at
one with nature’.
Tea/coffee making facilites, CD & DVD player, ceiling fan.
Aquavilla:
We will commence building shortly... !
Stage two of our development will see two amazing
concepts in ‘aqua’ accommodations.

Aqua Club has many fun activities to entice and
excite you during your stay with us!
Beach walking and Ocean Swimming: Namata Bay is
surrounded by a long stretch of white sand beach surrounding a
lagoon of pure aquamarine.
Snorkelling:Step out of bed for an early morning
snorkel in our lagoon filled with colourful reef-fish and mulithued
corals. Or, take a boat ride to one of our nearby reefs for more
dramatic snorkelling.
Scuba Diving: We are situated right in the middle
of some of Fijis world renowned Dive Sites - Great White Wall off
Taveuni to the dramatic sheer drop offs of Motui Lailai - our
experienced dive staff will take you there in our custom built high
speed dive boat! For the novice or person wishing to Learn to Dive,
we are both instructors and will give you an experience that will
thrill you.
Bush walks & Mountain Hikes:Rising up behind us is
a dramatic mountain range covered with tropical rainforest. One of
our guides will be more than happy to 'take you bush'!
Fishing:Spend a few hours or a full day out on our
custom built light tackle fishing. If you prefer fly fishing, spend
some time trying your luck in Namata Bay.
Cultural experience: Visit one of the local
villages on Qamea, listen to one of our lectures on '101 things to
do with a coconut', perhaps a lesson in basic Fijian! Our weekly
Meke (Fijian song and dance) is a great way to be introduced to
local customs and lore.
Day Trips to Taveuni: This Island Paradise is home
to the World Heritage Bouma Waterfalls, another MUST do is a photo
opportunity on the dateline; stand in yesterday and chat with your
companion in today! Unspoilt, and full of charm!
For those just wanting to sit back and relax:
Hammocks: Set up either on the beach, under a tree
or near your accommodation...where-ever it is you will be more
relaxed!
Picnics: Let us pack you a picnic lunch of your
choice and drop you off at a secluded beach for a few hours
Spa Treatments: Our Spa treatments are designed to
use only the finest and purest local oils. |

Diving:
 Aqua
Club is located right in the middle of some the best diving in Fiji!
With the unexplored sites of the Ringgold Islands to the North, the
famed Somosomo Straits to the West, Motui Levu with Noels Wall and
Golden Dream to the East. Our closest sites being Seven Peaks,
Purple Wall and Sucu.
State of the art Dive boats, excellent equipment for
hire, plus local knowledge and many years in the Scuba Dive
Industry, make Aqua Club your finest choice for diving 'the Soft
Coral Wonderland of the South Pacific'.
Nigel and Carol are both Dive Instructors and our
Dive Staff have dived this area for many years. Our interactive
Dive Map will give you all the information you need to plan YOUR
best dive vacation!
Small groups of 10 - 14 divers will find us Paradise
on Earth....and Underwater!! |

Hiking
If you love to Hike....then you will love to visit our area. With
our rainforested mountain backdrop offering the adventerous hiker
some great hiking.
A Day trip to Taveuni to hike up to our World Heritage Waterfalls at
Bouma; or perhaps attempt ( with guide) to hike to the top of
Taveuni and visit the Lake for a truly amazing experience. |

 Snorkeling
Namata Bay offers some great snorkelling right in
front of our property. We supply masks, snorkels and fins. With
multi-hued reefs being the playground to many colourful reef-fish,
perhaps a boat snorkelling trip will entice you.
If you are a bit nervous, we are more than happy to take you on a
guided snorkel and show you some of our amazing marine life.
In our small library, you will find many fish and
coral identification books to help you identify what you
experienced!! |

 Fishing
Take a few hours or the day out on our custom built
sports fishing boat to our inner lagoons for Coral Trout, Trevally
or Reef Snapper . Great light tackle or fly fishing.
The surrounding open-water reefs offer exceptional fishing
conditions with the chance to pull in Tuna, Mahimahi or Spanish
Mackerel.
It is recommended that the serious angler or fly fishing enthusiasts
bring their own gear to suit their experience. |

 Adventure
We have so much to offer that will excite and entice
you..Take a guided mountain hike in the verdant rainforest behind
the resort. Perhaps enjoy a Day Trip to Taveuni and experience the
thrill of standing in Today and Tomorrow at the Dateline, or visit
our World Heritage area at Bouma Waterfalls. Delve into the Fijian
Culture with a trip to some of our local villages. For the water
lovers - snorkelling or Scuba diving in some of the world famous
dive sites that surround us.

This is where yesterday meets today - the 180th
Meridian runs through the Island, a must do photo opportunity to
